Alright, I've been offered something that seems almost too good to be true...and I'm still very unsure on whether i should do it or not. perhaps you all can give me some insight?

okay, right now, I'm working at a local Hallmark, makin' minimum wage...it's not bad, it's a nice store, nice people work there, and the customers are all very patient and nice. i don't have many bills save for car payment and insurance...minimum does pretty well for me right now (I'd like to have a bit more money, but minimum is fine.)

There is a man, who is practically the richest man in three counties (he owns nearly everything in at least two of those three counties)...and he wants me to come work for him.

well, not exactly for him, he wants me to move in with his mother and keep an eye on her. all I've gotta do is keep her company and makes sure she remembers to do simple things such as lock the door at night...that's it...she has maids during the day to do everything else for her.

obviously, these people are loaded and are willing to do a few things to get me to agree...my mom told them how much i rely on the internet for my classes and communication, they said that, even though the old lady does not have internet at the moment, if i agree, i'll have internet the day i move in.

sounds good, right?

i've asked my co-worker and she said the man really cares about his mother and he will pay really well to make sure she's safe...the pay is just speculation, i still haven't met them yet to discuss everything...but they said, if the lady wants the help...they want me (can't understand why though, lol)

my one problem with this whole arrangement is...i've gotta leave home...and i don't know if i'll be able to do that...i'm too much of a homebody...too much of a momma's girl. i thought it over a lot last night, but each time i got to the part where i couldn't hug my mom goodnight, or sit with her when i had a problem, i just started crying...

what's your view of this whole thing?

Now that i've got a couple more chapters of Marked wing up, and now that i've drawn a few pics myself, i'm really anxious/curious to see what other people see when they read it.

was nice enough to use his very unique style to do a poster based on what he read in the first few chapters [link] . and he also did his version of my character Aelfric [link] .

took time out of her many requests to draw my character, Aelfric, and my Sis's ('s) character (and Aelfric's mate) Katarra, [link] and she did a great job with it!
